Catching the Fire is an annual County wide celebration of God's mission in Suffolk facilitated by the Lightwave Community. It is part of the annual season of prayer THY KINGDOM COME and The Big Suffolk Prayer Walk. It enables prayer and gives encouragement and commissioning for mission across the county.
This year Catching the Fire was celebrated at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on Pentecost Sunday - 19th May

In 2023 Catching the Fire took place on Sunday 21st of May at White House Farm, The Grove, Great Glemham, Suffolk.
We picnicked together, prayer-walked, worshipped and waved our handmade flags in the sunshine. It was a glorious day of celebration. Bishop Mike and Archdeacon Sally led worship for all ages. We enjoyed story, song and breaking bread in a breathtaking outdoor setting
