The new Chadbrook Lightwave mini-hub is based in the villages of Long Melford, Alpheton, Shimpling and Lawshall in South Suffolk. We have two lightwave groups so far…the 4 o’clock Community and Connect
4 o’clock community meets together at (usually!) 4pm on Sunday afternoons. We had already been meeting inside for Messy Church and Shine informal worship, but decided to more regularly provide opportunities to build friendships, explore faith and encounter God in His beautiful creation which we are so blessed by in our rural villages. We have started additional outdoor socials, walks and Forest Church type activities…such as fireworks and sausages, and a stargazing walk.
Indoor venues include Holy Trinity Church, Long Melford CO10 9DT and All Saints Church, Lawshall IP29 4QB, and we have a WhatsApp group to facilitate our outdoor activities.

Connect is our toddler group for babies, toddlers, parents & carers. It is held at St Catherine's Church in Long Melford (CO10 9JU) on Mondays during term time, 9.30 -11am. We offer a warm welcome, a listening ear and the chance to meet up and chat with friends, old and new, over a hot drink and biscuits while your little ones play. There are toys, a weekly craft, story and song time. We consider ourselves a family.
We are encouraging times of prayer before, after or (when need arises) during our session, and we sign-post family friendly Church and social events.
