Suffolk in Prayer is a movement of Christians committed to praying for God's blessing on this beautiful county and it's people.  It started during the pandemic when Christians all across the county joined together to pray online for Thy Kingdom Come.

During 2022, for the Queen's Jubilee, we joined in an initiative called

"The Suffolk Blessing"

We are excited to have hosted the first Suffolk-wide prayer walk over the weekend of
22nd-24th April 2022, with people from different Christian denominations and streams working together.

A huge thank you to all those who joined us to walk, run, cycle and to pray at home prayers, asking for God’s blessing on communities across Suffolk. The routes included the boundaries and streets of our towns and villages, walking the coastline of Suffolk and cycling the roads of Suffolk’s perimeter. If you have anything you'd like to share with us from your times of prayer, photos, videos or any words from God, get in touch at-
suffolkinprayer@gmail.com

You can share your photos on social media using the hashtag #thebigsuffolkprayerwalk or sharing them to the Suffolk in Prayer Facebook Group. We'd love to see.

This year's Big Suffolk Prayer Walk takes place during the weekend of 19th - 21st May 2023 - more details to follow, so watch this space!
(by sending photos you are giving permission for these to be shared on our social media and website)

Suffolk in Prayer also facilitated hundreds of community prayer spaces around the county to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee in 2022. These prayer spaces were publicised as we prepared for the main jubilee celebrations, but of course they can stay up as long required, so get in touch if you'd like any more information about current open prayer spaces.
