​​​​​​​NATIONAL RESOURCING FOR RURAL CHURCHES

  • Arthur Rank Centre - An ecumenical national charity, which resources, trains, and advocates for rural Christians, rural churches and the communities they serve. Their vision is of confident rural Christians, encouraged to engage in effective mission and ministry.  See their range of worship resources, their Country Way magazine and their Rural Ministry Course.
  • Farming Christian Link - A support organisation run and supported by Christian volunteers from the mainstream churches throughout the UK, who are involved in farming or have links with farming and rural activities
  • Lightwave Community - Contemporary missional community across the county of Suffolk with a particular heart for the countryside.  Part of the diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich. -  See their downloadable small group notes and LoveRural Resources
  • New Wine Rural Network - Support for churches and ministers affiliated to New Wine
  • Rural Fresh Expressions is a network of fresh expressions practioners in the countryside.
  • Rural Ministries a growing network of rural churches, pioneers and practitioners.  RM exists to inspire, empower, and support denominations, churches, pioneers, and "those with just a glimmer of an idea who are called to live in rural communities across the UK  
  • Rural Mission Solutions supports village churches in their mission
  • Village Hope’s aim is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to encourage evangelism in the villages and rural communities of BritainThe support they can offer will vary from village to village, as each situation

  • Country Landowners Association - Supports Landowners and Rural Businesses
  • Farming community NetworkA voluntary organisation & charity that supports farmers and families within the farming community
  • Lightwave Rural and Agrucultural Chaplaincy - Rural chaplaincy for Suffolk including 24-hr helpline to a member of the chaplaincy team 07413 683368
  • National Farmers' Union - The largest representation body for agriculture and horticulture in England and Wales.  The NFU represents more than 46,000 farming and growing businesses. Their purpose is to champion British agriculture and horticulture, to campaign for a stable and sustainable future for British farmers and to secure the best possible deal for their members.
  • Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution – RABI – is a national charity providing local support to the farming community across England and Wales, including guidance, financial support and practical care to farming people of all ages for generations.  Confidential support is available to those who currently work within agriculture and also to those who are no longer able to work in the sector due to ill-health, accident or age. Support is tailored to each applicant and initial advice can be accessed via the RABI freephone helpline 0800 188 4444

  • Royal Countryside Fund (Previously the Price's Countryside Fund) is inspired by a vision, of thriving family farms and rural communities, encouraged and recognised for their role in creating a sustainable future for the countryside and the whole nation. They are the only UK-wide charity empowering family farms and rural communities to ensure their future.

  • Rural Coffee Caravan - Suffolk Charity addressing rural isolation
  • Suffolk Agricultural Association   A dynamic and vibrant membership association with relevance to all farmers and those engaged in Suffolk’s rural economy. A force for good and central to all matters food, farming and the countryside in Suffolk, they also disseminate knowledge and education about food and farming.    
  • YANA "You Are Not Alone" National Rural Mental Health Support for those involved in agriculture and other rural businesses affected by stress and depression
